ARIZONA

Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley
Opening late 2021

Arizona's affluent Paradise Valley, just outside Phoenix, is set to welcome a luxurious Ritz-Carlton resort next year. The 20-acre property ¡ª with views of Camelback Mountain, Mummy Mountain and McDowell Mountain ¡ª will provide 20,000 square feet of event space. The 215 guest rooms will be made up of luxury suites and detached casitas with private entrances. Guests will be in for a treat at the property's in-house spa, featuring desert-inspired therapies, and the 400-foot pool will be one of the longest in the country. The restaurants will highlight produce sourced from the resort's garden and citrus orchard. The hotel will be the centerpiece of a $2 billion, 122-acre community called the Palmeraie, slated to include 70 boutiques and restaurants, also scheduled to open in 2021.

CALIFORNIA

Stanly Ranch, Napa Valley
Summer 2021

A 10-minute drive from downtown Napa, on the southern edge of Napa Valley in the heart of wine country, sits the 712-acre Stanly Ranch. Next year, the historic estate, which has been producing wine since the 19th century, will debut a contemporary luxury resort that will join the Auberge Resorts Collection. Accommodations will include 135 cottages with large window walls and sunny patios that offer views of the vineyard, Eucalyptus trees and the Mayacamas Mountains. An array of wellness services will be available at the property's spa and fitness studio and in its tranquility zone for mindfulness practices.?

FLORIDA

Hotel Effie
Feb. 1, 2021

The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach, Fla., will welcome the Hotel Effie on Feb. 1. The 250-room property promises luxury with a dose of southern hospitality on the Gulf of Mexico and the Choctawhatchee Bay. Among the amenities will be a fitness center and an upscale spa. Groups will gather in the hotel's 20,000 square feet of meeting space, most notably in the 13,000-square-foot ballroom. The four culinary outlets come from chef Hugh Acheson, a James Beard¨Caward winner. Of notable mention is the Ara Rooftop Pool & Lounge, which will offer panoramic views, private cabanas and handcrafted cocktails ¡ª one of few such rooftop venues on Florida's Emerald Coast.

MARYLAND

Marriott Hotel at Metro Centre
Summer 2021

Marriott Hotels is debuting a property at Metro Centre in Owings Mills, Md., just outside of Baltimore. The 229-room hotel, unnamed at press time, will offer a 6,700-square-foot ballroom, a 4,150-square-foot outdoor terrace, a boardroom connecting to the terrace, seven meeting rooms, a full-service fine-dining restaurant, a lobby bar and lounge, and an event hub for the conference center. Location is everything for this property: The mixed-use complex is close to Route 795 and the metro line heads right into downtown Baltimore. The Metro Centre at Owing Mills itself features a host of shopping and dining options, as well as a public plaza that can be used for events.

MONTANA

Montage Big Sky
Late 2021

Less than an hour from Yellowstone National Park, Montage Big Sky will sit within the 3,530-acre Spanish Peaks enclave at the famed ski resort. The 150-room property, which will offer 12,870 square feet of meeting and event space, will draw plenty of outdoor enthusiasts with its on-site Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course, access to 5,800 skiable acres, world-renowned fly-fishing, and hiking and mountain biking trails. A classic ski-lodge ambience will be coupled with a contemporary mountain design. On-site amenities will include a market, a restaurant, a pub and a recreation room with a bowling alley. The 11,000-square-foot spa will be a serene sanctuary, equipped with 10 treatment rooms, an indoor lap pool and a salon.

NEVADA

Resorts World Las Vegas?
Summer 2021

Three of Hilton's premium brands ¡ª Hilton Hotels & Resorts, LXR and Conrad ¡ª will dwell together at the Resorts World Las Vegas. The $4.3 billion resort is the hospitality company's largest multibrand deal, bringing 3,500 rooms to the Las Vegas Strip where the former Stardust Resort and Casino once sat. Notable facilities include a 5,000-seat theater; 350,000 square feet of convention space; a 220,000-square-foot pool complex, including an infinity pool looking out on the Strip; a 117,000-square-foot casino; a spa and fitness center; and an array of casual and fine-dining spots for a meal or a drink.

NEW YORK

Margaritaville Resort Times Square
Spring 2021

The city that never sleeps is about to get a taste of the islands, smack dab in the center of all the action. The Margaritaville Resort Times Square, which promises to whisk visitors away from the city's hustle and bustle into a Jimmy Buffett-influenced atmosphere, will feature an outdoor heated pool, a fitness center, four food-and-beverage options, and meeting space for up to 1,000 guests.?

Each of the $300 million property's 234 guest rooms will feature the soft colors typical of island design, and amenities such as walk-in rain showers, St. Somewhere bath products and Keurig coffee makers. Guests will gather at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Restaurant and Tiki Bar, the LandShark Bar & Grill, the 5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar and the License to Chill Bar.

OKLAHOMA

Omni Oklahoma City

Omni is scheduled to debut a new property early next year in the Big Friendly and it's already taking reservations for next year. The 605-room Omni Oklahoma City sits in the center of the action: Not only is the luxury hotel just 10 miles from the airport, but it's also a quick walk from the 15,341-seat Chesapeake Energy Arena, the new 70-acre Scissortail Park, and the new Oklahoma City Convention Center, also opening in January, which will feature a 200,000-square-foot exhibit hall.

The hotel's guest rooms include 29 suites with views of the skyline and Scissortail Park. Seven dining outlets will be available, among them an espresso bar, an all-day diner, a sports bar and a steak house. Also on site will be a full-service spa. This property will be equipped with 78,000 square feet of event space, featuring a 20,796-square-foot grand ballroom and a 10,197-square-foot junior ballroom. A rooftop pool deck on the hotel's third floor will offer great views, private cabanas and a pool bar with craft cocktails.

TEXAS

Hotel Drover
Early 2021

Once known as the "Wall Street of the West," Fort Worth Stockyards' Mule Alley is now undergoing a $175 million makeover. Joining the historic area as part of the project, along with a host of new eateries and shops that are already open, is the Hotel Drover, a Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel that will blend Western charm with modern style.

The 200-room property will feature more than 2 acres of outdoor space, a pool, fire pits, a stage and multiple water features. There will be more than 40,000 square feet of meeting space, including a reimagined barn with vaulted ceilings. Of notable mention is Legacy Hall, an elegant event space with a veranda. The restaurant, 97 West Kitchen & Bar, will present a menu of contemporary Texas fare.?

UTAH

Pendry Park City
Winter 2021

A mere 35-minute drive from the rebuilt Salt Lake City International Airport, Park City is an alpine wonderland with a charming historic downtown that experiences idyllic summers and picturesque winters. Opening for the 2021-'22 ski season, the 152-room Pendry Park City, a luxury hotel in Canyons Village, will offer ski-in, ski-out access to more than 7,300 acres of terrain. The rooms, with views of the Wasatch Range, will be designed as a modern homage to the traditional alpine lodge. Winter visitors will find all they need: a ski valet, the Spa Pendry, and a rooftop bar and pool. The outdoor adventures at the property aren't limited to the winter months, as hiking, mountain biking and more are available during the summer.
